Google has announced the development of a groundbreaking algorithm for quantum computers that could enable these machines to solve real-world problems beyond the reach of classical supercomputers within just a few years.

The quantum computing provider D-Wave has announced a milestone: The Palo Alto, California-based company claims to have mastered a task with its quantum computer that overwhelms conventional computers - a state known as "quantum supremacy". But there are also critical voices.

The age of artificial intelligence has only just begun, and the next tech revolution is right around the corner: quantum computing. Discover why it is worthwhile for companies to look at specific applications and the impact on their business.

Quantum computers have enormous potential to solve problems that are too complex for conventional computers, such as simulating molecules, optimizing logistics in real time or protein folding. Quantum computers are not yet fundamentally ahead of conventional computers - general quantum superiority is still a dream of the future.

Quantum computers work according to a completely different concept than conventional computers. This makes them so incredibly fast that they are believed to have the potential to bring about revolutionary changes in various fields. Find out how this concept works and what applications are currently being developed in this article.
