The Ukrainian army is complaining about another failure of the Starlink satellite communications service.

The commander of the drone forces, Robert Browdi, reported that the system failed again at 7.28 a.m. (6.28 a.m. CEST) along the entire front. Half an hour later, the gradual restoration of service began, he wrote on Telegram.

Users of Starlink in the USA also complained of an outage on the online platform Downdetector. There was initially no confirmation from Starlink.

Starlink, which is operated by Elon Musk’s space company SpaceX, is important for hospitals, schools and other civilian facilities in Ukraine because much of the traditional telecommunications infrastructure was destroyed in the Russian war of aggression. However, the army also makes extensive use of satellite terminals for communication.

The last time Starlink suffered a major disruption was in July.
